The crowd tonight (and those of us watching later on YouTube!) were treated to a very special encore after Scream had been played - Temple of The Dog's wonderful Reach Down from 1990.

Amazing show Saturday in Salt Lake City! Freestyle was awesome and Timbaland was something else! That is by far the most diverse and creative show i've ever seen in my life...true musicians can do anything they want to do and shouldn't be bound by genres and labels.

I saw Chris this summer in Omaha. For that show he was performing all of the hits from his career with several bands. It was a great rock show. This time around, his band performed his new album Scream from start to finish with no real stops between songs (until the last song). It was a cool concept, and Timbaland compared it to watching Pink Floyd. Cornell's performance was dead on, as always. The crowd was definitely full of Chris Cornell fans. Once Timbaland was done with his set, things got much tighter up front and people started to loosen up to dance and mosh more. He didn't talk to the crowd during the set much because of the continuous flow of it, but he did spend a lot of time coming to the front of the stage and connecting with fans by singing to them and reaching out to them. At one point, while he was reaching his hand out to the crowd, he stopped when he got to me and gave me a pound and looked at me and nodded with approval.
