photo of Timbaland by Scott Harrison This past Saturday, Timbaland took the stage at 9:30pm an hour and half late because he was still eating at Mr. Lucky’s. He played for about one hour then Chris Cornell took the stage at 11pm. Both artists played to a packed house. Super-producer Timbaland has helped create career-defining hits for artists such as Jodeci, Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Missy Elliott, Destiny’s Child, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z. Timbaland’s most recent work is the album “Timbaland Presents Shock Value”. Chris Cornell’s bluesy reinvention of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” is rising up the UK charts following a performance on British prime-time TV talent show The X Factor, reaching #41 in the midweek charts. Chris’ song “Ground Zero” is featured in the premiere of the new TV series starring Harvey Keitel and Jason O’Mara, “Life on Mars”.
