"My girlfriend bought tickets for us at Berlin, what a treat! The show was jam packed and to be honest the band rocked right from the word go.

As a long time fan, I was disturbed by reading stuff like his voice was shaky and he was losing it a bit. I have to say that there was absolutely no evidence of that. He looked fit and healthy, with a sparkle in his eye. As for vocals, his power was just like 20 years ago, but refined and with that gravely edge we all love. Man, I have not heard a better live vocal performance, it was flawless.

The set list was for me a good mix and it all went down pretty well with the audience. The old Soundgarden stuff was very well recieved and the atmosphere was buzzing. You could also see that the whole band was stoked and really loving the atmosphere.

As a side note, it can often be that the support band of a famous vocalist like Chris can often remain in the wings. It was not the case here. All band members were really getting into the music and for me were an integral part of the show. Guitars sounded excellent, and i loved the bass player, he kept the show moving for me. Always great to see some passion in the drumming, its not a success unless the drummer gets his shirt off ;)

Outshined, Jesus Christ Pose, Rusty Cage, wow, huge energy. The acoustic segment, studio perfect. I had a feeling that the band were initially a little sceptical, not knowing how they would go down, but then when they realised everyone was really enjoying the set, they also seemed to grow in energy. Overall a phenomenal performance that both me and my girlfriend will carry with us. It was a honour to be there and see the great man, and see some very talented musicians. The new album will be on the iPod for a long time to come. Thanks all."

"He will go down in history as one of the greatest musician/singer/songwriter of all time. The gig rocked my socks off, I am still buzzing from it, everything was perfect. He is in top form, I am hoping he will be back very soon!!! Thanks Chris, for one of the best 2.5 hours I have ever had!"

"Thank you so much for the Berlin show! It was absolutely amazing. I came all the way from Finland, and, I´m totally speechless. I have never ever before experienced anything like that. Thanks to your wife too. She gave a paper to a security guy and pointed at me. The guy brought the paper to me and it was the set list with your signature. It was a perfect ending to a perfect night. I will never forget this. Thank you so much!!!!! I feel like crying, I´m so happy...Chris´voice was clear and there was no sign of weariness at any point of the show. I have to admit that the band was awesome. Chris has picked the right guys who really can play. Yogi played some awesome solos. They seriously rocked and they were definitely enjoying and having fun, like the audience too."

"It was an amazing concert, a lot of energy and some long lasting beautiful 2,5 hours in my life... I've experienced both, the front row and the back rows of the location and I have to say that the sound in the back wasn't that good. The Kesselhaus has a specific pleasant atmosphere, but has its drawbacks acoustically. Nevertheless, Chris and the band were amazing. I've never heard "Seasons" live before and they really rocked it... Not to mention "My wave" or "Zero chance", which Chris dedicated to Ben Shepherd. There is one more point I have to criticize: the accoustic guitar sounds terrible, steely and clanky...Chris should take another one..."

Chris Cornell stellte zweites Soloalbum in Berlin vor

thanks to lindy for the photo

Auch der Bonds-Hit «You Know My Name» wurde gespielt.
